Michael Schumacher Has Become a Living Legend

By profession he was a racing driver but in reality he is dream idol of speed and expertise in motor car driving. Michael Schumacher has become a living legend for his astounding success in Formula 1 car world championship for repeatedly 7 times, and was named as Laureus World Sportsman of the year two times. Because of his amazing performance, he is regarded as one of the best drivers of this globally famous World Motor Championship.

Michael Schumacher holds plenty of legendary records from Formula 1 World Championship tournament. Some of the most popular ones are race victories, pole positions, fastest laps, and most of these records were done in one season, during the year 2004. In 2002, Michael Schumacher finished in the top 3 in almost all races of a season and then also broke the record for most consecutive podium finishes. According to the Formula 1 official website, he is one of the most successful drivers of this world car championship tournament.

In December 2013, this legendary speed specialist met a fatal accident while skiing. He was shifted to a hospital and on doctor’s recommendation he was put to medically induced coma for offering complete rest as the treatment of his severe brain injury. He was in coma from December 29th to 16th June 2014. By November he was taken back to his home and he was detected with paralysis and wheelchair bound as a result of his accident.

Michael Schumacher profile has won innumerable awards and nominations. He was the President of Grand Prix Drivers Associations, and he joined team Ferrari for using their car in Formula 1 championship: in fact he took this brand at the peak of success in this world championship tournament. He was one of the nominated UNESCO Champions for sport. Besides all her trophies and laurels, he was awarded an FIA Gold Medal for Motor Sport in 2006.
